Route: Dealul Consul – Valea Teilor – Florești

The Consul route starts from DJ229, next to a footbridge on the county road, climbs towards the peaks of Consul I and II, descends towards DN22F and follows the summit of Dealului Alba to the town of Valea Teilor.
The route runs along the main ridge between the towns of Valea Teilor and Florești, crossing habitats characteristic of silvosteppe vegetation with downy oak, steppe meadows with marigolds and rock formations with xerothermic species.
From Valea Teilor go west on the main ridge and continue south to the town of Florești.
After we pass the village of Valea Teilor, at about 1.5 km there is a fork that passes by Moș Nucă’s mill and reaches a spring.
At the same time, you can also admire the agricultural crops in the panorama, vine plantations. On the administrative territory of the Izvoarele commune, there are two nature reserves: Mount Consul and Carasan-Teke.
