It starts from the center of Niculitel, next to the town hall and climbs “La Cruce” on Țugulea Hill, follows the crest of the hill to the southwest to the top of “La Troian”, then heads south on “Cărarea Șiganilor” until it reaches Dumitru Hill.
From the top of the Dumitru hill, it gently descends towards the saddle of the Mare and Episcopieia hills and then turns to the east under the Mare hill and descends to the south of Niculitel.
The route crosses habitats characteristic of the silvosteppe with downy oak, steppe meadows with marigolds and rocky outcrops with endemic xerothermic species (irises, gorse). The route goes around the ridge of the hills, from north to south the town of Niculițel and you can admire the panorama of the Danube and the Saon Monastery.
