Not far from the town of Măcin, in the town of Garvăn, in the commune of Jijila, on a bank near county road 251, is the Dinogeţia monastery.
Monastery of monks, Dinogeția is dedicated to the Healing Spring and was built in 2008.
Currently, it has a small church and the monks’ cells, but the construction process is not finished.
